Lately, that is what our life has been about- washing tons of feet and making PB&J sandwiches. We are in our 3rd week of Happy Feet with a team of 26 from NC. Half of the team is working on finishing the construction on the new soup kitchen, while half have been washing feet and giving away shoes. One of the days this week we worked in a remote village called Andowalopacha (say that 10 times fast!). Last year, members of the catholic church in that community drove the group out before they began, throwing rocks at them out of fear that their beliefs would be threatened. Thankfully, this year we were received warmly and we were able to form relationships with leaders of the community. Kids waited hours in the pouring rain to receive new hiking boot that would replace their flimsy rubber ones.

Pass the PB & J please! Yummy - always loved those sandwiches. You are obviously keeping busy and hopefully Greg you are getting back in the swing of things too. Sounds like you are feeling so much better - Hooray! Love the small videos - boy did it rain that day or what! You guys are in my prayers. Finish strong and take what you have there as a blessing. You will miss it when you are gone. Do not let the enemy rob you of the joy that your service to Christ brings. Take care you two.

Greg.....you look like you are in deep concentration making those samiches. They must have tasted fabulosa! And holy smokes, that rain looks horrendous. You guys need some golashes!
Wow! I guess I really lucked out since it was sunny the whole time I was there! Those kids are so cute!! You guys are doing awesome things!
We had a wonderful time this past week. We all made it home safely and we are all very tired. Thank you for all you and Greg do for the Lord.

I cant imagine having to wait in the pouring rain for a pair of shoes. We are so spoiled here that we get frustrated waiting for the cashier!! I am happy you are bringing your doggie home that is awesome, enjoyed your blog and the videos,they are very touching. God has blessed both the people there and you. You can see you have given and taken many gifts of the heart during your journey.
