Here are some pictures of some new (and old) friends of ours here. Upper left hand corner is Amy and Brigette, one of the girls from the soup kitchen we met last year. Upper middle pic is Greg, Steve and Katty (Steve's Ecuadorian daughter) enjoying a meal at a local joint. Note the size of the calzone in Greg's hand! Upper right pic is Amy and Katty. Lower left is Greg teaching some kids how to play pool at Steve and Micki's house. Lower right is a pic of our first dinner guests at our house this past Friday night- Veronica and her daughters Liseth and Andrea. Because of the language barrier, we laughed a lot and used the dictionary a lot! Bottom left hand is of Greg showing some of the soup kitchen kids some pictures of our family and friends in the U.S.

I love the pictures! I bet you two are having a ball with the kids. That must have been interesting with the language barrier. I'm sure you'll be fluent with Spanish before you know it Amy!...oh...and Greg. haha...keep taking pictures. There great!

That is the biggest calzone I've ever seen, but you definitely deserve it after that huge hike!

I guess there's no shortage of good food there between giant calzones and guinea pigs on a stick. I'm still waiting to hear from you to see if guinea pig tastes just like chicken. Thanks for being such a good photo poster, AMY!

HI GUYS!!! What a fantastic adventure you are on...I wish I was a lot younger and could do what you are doing...it is so wonderful of you to do this. Looks like you are having a fantastic time and also everyone that you meet is having one too. These folks are so lucky to have you there.
I know that your family and friends miss you like crazy but all realize what a wonderful thing you are doing. God Bless you two for being there..you represent so many of us and our feelings.
